How do I calculate my earnings?

Discussion activity earnings are calculated based on a proprietary model that rewards quality responses, relevant discussions and images.


Why haven't my earnings updated?

*

myLot has a 24 hour earnings period from midnight to midnight in the United States Central Standard Time.
*

So based on time zone differences your earnings may not update when you think they should and when you post it may be a day earlier or later.
*

myLot tries to have earnings updated around the same time each day, however some days it may be earlier or later.
*

If you are using myLot and you notice that the earnings have not updated, please be patient as we assure you they will be updated or myLot will send out an alert to update the community to the issue at hand.
*

It is not necessary to post a discussion about your earnings not updating. If your earnings are not up to date, then nobody's earnings are up to date.
*

If you think there is a real issue concerning your earnings that we have not noticed or it pertains only to you, please contact myLot if your earnings have not updated within a 48 hour period.


Why do my earnings fluctuate?

*

From time to time it is necessary for myLot to recalculate earnings for the month to curb users trying to game the system. Our proprietary earnings algorithm periodically recalculates all estimated daily earnings for the previous month to take into account posts that have been deleted in the abuse and moderation processes.
*

During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to myLot users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate.
*

myLot members who have a decrease in earnings have had one or more posts deleted throughout the month. The main reason for this could be that you started a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms, that you responded to, or commented on, a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms, or that a comment you made on a blog article or news story violated our guidelines or terms.
*

Please become familiar with our myLot Guidelines and Terms of Use to avoid the possibility of having your posts deleted in the abuse and moderation processes.
*

myLot does not reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm.
*

Remember, your earnings are all estimated until paid.



I made $10, why haven't I received a payment yet?

*

There may be a couple of reasons why you haven't received your payment:
*

First, you have to earn your minimum payout by the end of the month in order to receive your payment on the 15th of the following month.
*

For example: If you make $10 by October 31st, you will receive $10 on November 15th.
*

If you miss the end of the month cut off, you will receive your payment the following month.
*

Secondly, double check to make sure you selected $10 as your minimum payout. You may have selected a higher amount. If this is the case, you can contact myLot to see what your options are at that time.

Also make sure that all the information on the payment page is correct and accurate. If any information is incomplete or inaccurate, your payment will be withheld.

How do referrals work?
AGLOCO™ pays you an hourly rate when the friends and family who you recruit use the web while using the Viewbar™ (they're called "direct referrals"), and for people your referrals recruit ('extended referrals'). Are there rules or restrictions?
There are some rules, and all are intended for the benefit of AGLOCO™ members:

* Each person can only sign up once, creating an account for him or herself, and may not establish an account on behalf of anyone else. Nor can accounts be transferred between people.
* No spamming. AGLOCO™ strictly forbids spamming to get referrals. This means you can only tell people you know or who explicitly agree to receive your invitation to be referred. See our Anti-spam Policy. If you use spam to try to get referrals, your account will be terminated.
* The maximum number of payable hours per month is currently 5. Over time, depending on several variables that number may increase, or it may decrease, at AGLOCO™'s discretion.
* You have to surf yourself to get the benefit of your referrals' surfing. If you surf only 50% of the maximum payable hours in a month, and your referrals each surf 100%, you will be credited with only 50% of the payable surfing time for each referral. See our Global Payments Table for details of payable hours by country.
* All information submitted during signup must be accurate; members who deal with AGLOCO™ in a fraudulent fashion will forfeit their memberships, their account balance, and their referrals. All of this information is in our Membership Agreement, which you must read before joining AGLOCO™ or downloading and using the Viewbar™ software.
